Once you understand the care instructions, you may begin. Keep the following crucial facts in mind:

Colors
Wash colors with colors and whites with whites. Washing colored clothes with black clothes may cause a gray hue on your colored items. Always separate into three combinations: white wash, colored wash, and black wash.

Material
The fabric type determines the washing method. Here’s an explanation for cotton:

COTTON
Cotton tends to shrink in the wash. Do not wash cotton items above 30 degrees. Wash new products separately as cotton can bleed in the first wash. You can iron damp cotton up to 200 degrees.
